# Loadouts
## Overview
In **Alternates**, loadouts play a crucial role in defining your gameplay style and strategy. A loadout consists of your selected weapons, attachments, and equipment, allowing you to tailor your setup to suit different game modes, maps, and personal preferences.
## How to Choose and Customize Your Loadout
1. **Access the Loadouts Section**
* After logging into **Alternates** and arriving at the main menu, navigate to the top navigation bar and select **Loadouts.**
2. **Select your loadout**
* In this screen you will be able to view all the loadouts which you are able to equip in-game. To customize it, simply click on the loadout you would like to modify.
3. **Choose your weapon**
* Click on the weapon you would like to replace or if you prefer to customize that same weapon, click **Modify** and choose which attachments you would like to equip.

* On this screen you will be able to choose what type of weapon you would like to use.
6. **Choose your weapon variation**
* On this screen you will be able to view all the variations you own for that weapon you selected.
