# Starting Off

## *Your journey begins here:*

**1. Create Your** [**Player Profile**](/alternates-wiki/learn-alternates/starting-off/player-profile.md)

* Visit our [**Player Hub.**](/alternates-wiki/learn-alternates/the-player-hub.md)
* Sign up to create a new **player profile** by simply inserting your email and username.

**2. Download the Gamea**

* Go to our homepage and find the "DOWNLOAD" or "PLAY" button which will take you to our download page.

* Alternatively, download the game through the Epic Games Launcher, available for both macOS and Windows.

**3. Log In**

* Launch *Alternates*.
* Log in using simply your email.

* Final step, type the OTP that was sent to the email you inserted above

**4. Explore Alternates**

* Once you've logged in with your Player Profile, you can roam our entire ecosystem, from enoying the captivating gameplay to pushing buttons in the player hub.
