Introduction

Alternates is a first-person shooter web3 game set in a multiverse where players unite as heroes to recover stolen technology and fight a powerful bear society. The game combines dynamic gameplay with a rich storyline, centered around the integration of NFT characters and communities. By blending web3 elements like NFTs and tokenomics, Alternates offers a unique and scalable gaming experience for both NFT owners and traditional players.

Seamless Onboarding for new users

New players are onboarded seamlessly by eliminating the need to purchase an NFT. Create or log in with your player profile through our Player Hub, and a complete set of default loadouts and characters will be available. Additionally, you can play as a guest in our offline mode to test out our game mechanics before even creating an account.

Incentivizing NFT communities

We’ve created a system to incentivize NFT communities in various ways:

• Added Utility for Existing Assets: We integrate existing NFT assets as in-game items, giving them added utility and purpose within Alternates.

• Themed Items: We develop weapon skin collections and other in-game items that align with each community's unique concept art, enhancing visual and thematic cohesion.

• Lore-Based Maps: In some cases, we create entire maps based on locations from the lore of these NFT communities, bringing their stories and settings to life within the game.

This multi-faceted approach not only enriches the gameplay experience but also strengthens the connection between our game and the already vibrant NFT communities.
