Ranked Mode Overview

In Alternates, the ranked mode offers a competitive environment where players can test their skills against others in a structured and rewarding system. Whether playing solo or with a team, ranked mode provides intense, tactical matches across multiple game modes. Players’ performance in ranked matches contributes to their overall ranking, which allows them to earn rewards, climb the leaderboard, and showcase their talents in the game.

Game Modes in Ranked

Ranked mode features three key game modes, each designed to offer fast-paced and strategic action:

• Search and Destroy: A classic, high-stakes mode where one team attacks and the other defends. The attacking team must plant a bomb at one of two designated sites, while the defenders aim to prevent this or defuse the bomb. Players only have one life per round, making teamwork and strategy essential.

• Hardpoint: Teams battle to control rotating "hardpoints" on the map. Staying within the hardpoint earns points for the team, but opponents will be fighting to take control. Fast reactions and strong positioning are critical in this mode.

• Domination: Both teams vie for control of three objectives on the map. Holding more objectives than the enemy team will generate points. Victory comes from holding these objectives for longer than your opponents while fending off their attacks.

Clan Integration in Ranked Mode

Clans play a major role in ranked gameplay. Players can join or create clans, allowing for group play in ranked matches. Here’s how clans interact with the ranked mode:

• Clan Points: When playing ranked matches, individual points from clan members will contribute to the overall clan score. This system rewards both individual performance and team collaboration, as each member’s efforts help elevate the clan’s ranking.

• Clan Wars: Dedicated events called Clan Wars will be available, where clans compete directly against one another for rewards and recognition. Clan Wars are designed to foster intense competition, with the best-performing clans earning top spots on the clan leaderboards.

Restricted Items in Ranked Mode

To maintain balance and fairness, certain weapons, grenades, and equipment will be restricted in ranked mode and competitive tournaments. These restrictions are put in place to ensure a more level playing field, where strategy and skill are the primary factors in determining victory. The banned items will include:

• Certain grenades: Some lethal and tactical grenades may be banned to prevent overly disruptive strategies.

• Specific weapons: Weapons deemed too powerful or imbalanced for competitive play will also be unavailable in ranked mode, maintaining fairness across all matches.

By restricting certain items, Alternates aims to create an environment where players can focus on honing their skills and developing tactical gameplay.
